The KC Downtowners welcomes any and all newcomers. We host monthly luncheons on the second Wednesday of each month, plus one or two social events per year. APRIl 2025 Luncheon
The next KC Downtowners luncheon is scheduled to be in-person at the Kansas City Central Library! Join us from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 9th for networking, lunch, and to hear from about the Aladdin Hotel Redevelopment Project from Molzer Development.
Monthly Luncheon Cost: $30 with pre-paid registration (no in-person registration available)
Parking: Validated parking at the library parking garage is included.

The Mission of Molzer Development is to preserve history and challenge the status quo of multifamily development in the Heart of America. In response to that mission, Molzer Development is leading the charge on the redevelopment of the Aladdin Hotel into a multifamily housing development, right in the heart of Kansas City. The transformation of the former 193 room hotel into multifamily apartments will be complete with thoughtfully designed units, beautiful amenity spaces, and an upscale craft cocktail bar on the 16th floor, with immaculate views of Downtown Kansas City.

Born & raised in Kansas City, Zach’s knowledge of the city, his youthful & innovative approach coupled with meaningful relationships, set him apart and are of great value to any project or partnership.
Prior to starting Molzer Development, Zach oversaw acquisitions and capital raising at a ~$120MM REPE firm. Throughout his tenure, he sourced off-market deals, raised capital from retail investors, family offices, and other private equity groups.
Zach has a degree from The University of Nebraska-Lincoln in Business Management. When Zach is not putting together deals, being close to his loved ones is Zach’s highest priority. In his free time, you’ll find Zach rooting for Nebraska Athletics, spending time with his girlfriend Ella, exploring new spots in Kansas City, or on the golf course tightening up his game.
